course four(media lab):

Course four:
This is the last course which called media lab, this course is harder than the last three courses that we have been leaning for whole year, within this course we did many projects and leaning new different topics such as css, an intro to java script and repairing for the last project that we did before, starting to think for our own company as to have our own business card, poster and our own website.

Spice farms, kizimbani.
This is the last safari that we went with my zanzibits team within course four, the aim of this safari was to gain some experience of using different kind of spice as a medicine and even to use it in a different kind of foods, but our aim wasn't end there instead we started to find the guider who would guide us to have our lunch after a long roving in the farms. Without forget the fruits from the farms which were very possible for us to have it.

Continuing of the class:

The safari of course four is still going on and I have thinking to establish the tour company dealing with all sea travel and walking tour through the village includes snorkeling, sunset cruise and go to the spice farms, here are my works that I have done within my company.

Chumbe Island:

Here in chumbe now my first island to be visited, this is the amazing island I ever seen where you can see peoples preserving this island through local ways, and get a short history of the island.
They try to keep every thing cultural. being in this island, I have had the opportunity to go to snorkeling for my first time together with seeing the corals and other sea creators like dolphins and turtles, not only that but also the amazing forest which consist allots of medicine trees which are good for treatment.

Also I had the chance to ask any question that I could have concerning with environment through the environmental educator who was providing this kind of education. Photographing took a large part in this beautiful tour and without forget a heavy lunch that was prepared to us. More relaxing island and honestly workers were there to make sure that nothing bad can happen to us. If you find the place to relax and get more experience, Chumbe Island is your solution, come to see the different.

Air Pollution in the Home:
You cannot escape air pollution, not even in your own home. "In 1985 the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reported that toxic chemicals found in the air of almost every American home are three times more likely to cause some type of cancer than outdoor air pollutants". (Miller 488) The health problems in these buildings are called "sick building syndrome". "An estimated one-fifth to one-third of all U.S. buildings are now considered "sick". (Miller 489) The EPA has found that the air in some office buildings is 100 times more polluted than the air outside. Poor ventilation causes about half of the indoor air pollution problems. The rest come from specific sources such as copying machines, electrical and telephone cables, mold and microbe-harboring air conditioning systems and ducts, cleaning fluids, cigarette smoke, carpet, latex caulk and paint, vinyl molding, linoleum tile, and building materials and furniture that emit air pollutants such as formaldehyde. A major indoor air pollutant is radon-222, a colorless, odorless, tasteless, naturally occurring radioactive gas produced by the radioactive decay of uranium-238. "According to studies by the EPA and the National Research Council, exposure to radon is second only to smoking as a cause of lung cancer". (Miller 489) Radon enters through pores and cracks in concrete when indoor air pressure is less than the pressure of gasses in the soil. Indoor air will be healthier than outdoor air if you use an energy recovery ventilator to provide a consistent supply of fresh filtered air and then seal air leaks in the shell of your home.

Debby & Ruben:

Inside the course three we had the two teachers from Netherlands who were Ruben and Debby, these guys were here for six weeks teaching us a short film animation and we did the work into groups, we were three in our group and we did an animation about turtle and the full moon party in the prison island of zanzibar. Another groups made animations about crazy frog, super baby, the boy and dog and the last one was cat and mouse. All these animation movies were very interested and they got the chance to be shown in ziff.

Caths:

Not only films but also we had south american lady, she was teaching us a photograpy on how to take a picture, to use camera in a different settings such as snow and others. catherine also was having another lesson which was called presentation skills, this explain more on how to present in the public or even to present your works and expressing your self. This lady took a month to finish her lessons.

This is the third course in Zanzibits, in this course we did allots of projects like neighbourhood and cultural projects websites, ziff post card for 2010 and others, but me and my self, I like the neighbourhood project. I like it because it explain about clove product in zanzibar on how the peoples of zanzibar obtaining their basic needs through this product.

About zanzibits and the course one:

Zanzibits is an Ngo's aiming to generate the youths and helping the poor peoples who are willingly and interest to learn but they stack because of their poorest conditions. Zanzibits deals with providing the course like Film and Multimedia courses. In these courses you can learn for one year without any payment. They are teaching four (4) courses, these are (1) Behind the scene (2) Inside the web (3) web design
(4) The last one is media lab which consists Film and photograph subjects.

Course one (behind the screen):
This is the first course in which zanzibits teaching. In this course we did a lots of products includes business card, poster and cd cover, but my self, l really interested with cd cover, and this was my first time to design and even to see it, just check these below.

This is the second course to be learnt in zanzibits, through this course I got the chance to browse the web, starting to play with network allots, how websites look like, what is search engine and also having my own mails and I'm glad cause I use those emails till today.
